Our sixth and final in-person project meeting took place at the National Technical University of Athens on January 30 and 31, within the  School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. On Thursday, February 6, the Faculty of Education at the University of Barcelona hosted the International Research Projects Conference, a space where the GROP (Research Group in Psychopedagogical Orientation), representing the rest of the international team, presented the Educardia Project. We recently had the 5th in-person project meeting at the Palau de Marianao, Barcelona, hosted by the RIEEB – the International Network for Emotional Education and Well-being. Our project’s fourth in-person meeting recently took place at Stefan cel Mare University in Suceava, where we focused on assessing the impact of the EduCardia methodology in strengthening students’ social and emotional skills across K-12 schools. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity for all team members to review the program’s progress, analyze its effects, and share insights from participating schools in Greece, Spain, Romania, and Cyprus. The 3rd in-person meeting of the EduCardia project took place on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2023 in Nicosia in Cyprus, hosted by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI). Pilot usage of EmoSociograms in schools across Spain, Greece, Romania and Cyprus We are glad to announce that the pilot usage of EmoSociograms is successfully implemented in various schools across four countries, namely Spain, Greece, Romania and Cyprus. Release of the EmoSociograms Psychometric tool We are pleased to announce the release of the EmoSociograms psychometric tool, after months of dedicated efforts for its development. EmoSociograms supports assessment of social and emotional skills of students at individual and group level. Our aim was to design a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) assessment tool that is efficient, user-friendly, and simple to use. You can now easily access it at https://emosociograms.com. We are happy to announce that today we have presented EduCardia methodology to the 8th ENSEC Conference of Social Emotional Learning and Positive Development. We have presented the ICT-enabled methodology for assessment and improvement of socioemotional competencies of students based on in-person and online activities. The Erasmus+ project EduCardia was officially launched in February 2022.  EduCardia is coordinated by the National Technical University of Athens.
