
EduCardia First face to face meeting

The Erasmus+ project EduCardia was officially launched in February 2022. EduCardia is coordinated by the National Technical University of Athens. It brings together 4 partners from different countries and aims to develop an assessment methodology focusing on assessing and improving socioemotional competencies of students in primary and secondary educational level. The kick-off meeting of the project took place in Athens on June 16 and 17, as a hybrid event.
The three-year EduCardia project will produce specific results than include the Specification of the EduCardia assessment methodology (Result 1), the release of the EmoSocio EI Model, including its specification (report), the set of items (questions) and the specification of the ontology (Result 2),the development of SEL training material for teachers (Result 3), a set of In-person and online activities development and provision through a digital repository (Result 4), the release of the open-source psychometric toolkit (EmoSociograms) and the relevant documentation (Result 5) and the production of a set of evaluation results and lessons learnt, based on the assessment studies in the schools in primary and secondary education (Result 6).
Four countries across Europe will demonstrate the EduCardia methodology regarding its applicability, replicability, potential and efficacy. The partners are: (i) National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), (ii) Romania Universitatea Stefan cel Mare din Suceava (USV), (iii) Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI), (iv) Universitat de Barcelona (UB), (v) Red Internacional de Educación Emocional y Bienestar(RIEEB).Are you interested in learning more about EduCardia?
