EduCardia meeting in Barcelona hosted by Rieeb
We recently had the 5th in-person project meeting at the Palau de Marianao, Barcelona, hosted by the RIEEB – the International Network for Emotional Education and Well-being. The focus of the meeting was to see the impact of EduCardia in improving students’ social and emotional competencies across K-12 schools. This was an invaluable opportunity for all involved to dive deep into how the program has been implemented thus far, as well as to review the tangible results observed from different schools across Greece, Spain, Romania, and Cyprus.
Each team shared insights and data from their regions, giving us a clearer picture of how EduCardia is impacting students’ social and emotional growth. We were able to identify some strengths, along with a few areas for improvement, which will guide our next steps as we continue shaping the project.
Looking ahead, our team remains motivated and committed to preparing additional resources for teachers. This includes not only refining the ICT tools that have been developed to support educators in implementing EduCardia more effectively, but also creating comprehensive training materials that align with the evolving needs of today’s classrooms. These resources will empower teachers to foster a more engaging and supportive learning environment for their students.
A huge thank-you goes to RIEEB for graciously hosting us in such an inspiring location. The atmosphere they created was exceptionally productive and welcoming, making it easy to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborations. We left the meeting feeling energized and excited to continue building on this momentum.
